‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 2 preview: Dean Norris continues his arc
Through two episodes of season 10, we know one thing about where the head of “The Big Bang Theory” is at: They really love their guest stars! Tonight’s premiere has a variety of notable names, including Katey Sagal and Jack McBrayer, playing family members, but to go along with that further, it also has a particularly notable appearance from none other than “Breaking Bad” alum Dean Norris, who is playing an Air Force Colonel who has an interest (and plenty of concerns) in the secret project that Howard Wolowitz is working on at present.
Judging from the synopsis below for next week’s installment entitled “The Military Miniaturization,” it seems clear that Norris is not going anywhere as this character anytime soon:
“Colonel Williams (Dean Norris), an Air Force representative from the Department of Material Command, sits down to talk with Wolowitz.”
That’s not exactly the most robust synopsis we’ve ever seen for this show, but the attached photo above does at least a good job of spelling one thing out for you: This is an intimidating dude. He’s going to have an idea as to how to get what he wants, and it feels fair to say that his personality is going to clash both early and often with Howard. Also, it’ll be funny to see more of Norris in this role, given that by and large we do associate him for the most part with playing serious characters, such as Hank or Big Jim from a different CBS show in “Under the Dome.”
