‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Nicole, Paul, and the lying game
There is something incredibly fun about watching Nicole and Paul in the “Big Brother” house, and there is one reason for that: Both of them are fairly good at putting on airs. Neither wants to admit how they’re truly feeling, and when they’re together they spend the majority of their time baiting one another to ensure that they take each other to the final two.
We saw great examples of that last night, mostly because Paul kept assuring Nicole that she has a good shot of winning at the end, and that James is really cocky and could have some support from a potentially bitter jury. He’s done a pretty good job of selling himself as someone beatable, but the problem here is that Nicole is a good player. She may not be altogether easy for some people to root for, but she’s played a consistently solid game all season long. As we heard from her last night, there are several advantages to taking James to the end — including that he previously tried to quit the game in favor of Natalie staying. The argument is a good one and Paul is going to be hard to beat.
The problem for Paul is that there seems to be a part of him who thinks he can beat Nicole, and if he takes her this could be his biggest mistake of the game. Hopefully, he’s really thinking this through and he could figure out a way to take James and destroy him in the closing arguments.
In the end, everything is going to depend on the final part of the Head of Household Competition, where Nicole and Paul are going to face off for an opportunity to make their case in front of the jury.
