‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2, episode 12 video: Ofelia’s journey

At the moment, we’re certainly aware that the majority of “Fear the Walking Dead” fans out there have some questions for Ofelia. For example, there are understandably plenty of people out there frustrated that she would leave Madison, Strand, and Alicia for what seems to be a solo adventure. Also, being alone in this world doesn’t seem to be the smartest idea. Isn’t there something to be said for strength in numbers? Well, that’s at least the case the majority of the time.

In this sneak peek below, we do at least have a chance to see Ofelia be pretty badass in talking out one particular zombie before checking out a bar — and if we were in her shoes, we would certainly understand needing a drink or two after this. The big takeaway that we have after watching this is mostly that she may be a little more like her father than she realized. Consider this an aftereffect of being a part of this world for so long, since it does harden you and make you do some things that you would probably not consider doing otherwise.

Our main hope by the end of this episode is that we do start to get a little bit more of an indication regarding what her plan is, why she went away, and also where her story could go in the long-term. For the time being, we are mostly just happy about getting more of a focus on her given that this has not always been a clear priority.
