NBC’s ‘The Voice’ video: Miley Cyrus gets candid on new season
With the eleventh season of “The Voice” right around the corner, this is of course the time when we start to see the coaches embark on their own lengthy promotional tours to talk a little bit about everything that is going to be coming up.
For Miley Cyrus, this of course means appearing on “The Today Show” to discuss not only being a judge on the coming season, but also why she wanted to do the show in the first place. She explains a little bit about how much she cares about this competition, and how much she wants to help her team members do well. She communicates and visits with them even on days when filming is not going on, and she apparently has a hard time sending some of them home because she gets emotionally invested in the process.
In the end, probably the best reason to be excited about Miley as a coach for this season is because she does buy into the process, and feels like the work being done for the show is genuine and not forced by producers. Given that she is someone who certainly has shown a habit for speaking her mind over the years, we do very much think that she would say something in the event that she felt like the show was manipulating her in any way. Ultimately, we’re glad that this doesn’t seem to be the case.
The new season of the show premieres on Monday, and hopefully, we’ll have some other news to share about it soon! Stay tuned…
