‘Suits’ season 6, episode 10 (summer finale) video: To save a firm

For the past several weeks, “Suits” has concentrated much of its energy on the mission to get Mike Ross out of prison, and it was every bit as compelling and complex as you would hope.

Now that he is out, what happens to him next? We definitely understand this being a question that many people want some sort of answer to, but at the same time we could certainly imagine a situation where it is pushed slightly on the back-burner. This about it like this: Mike’s been spending all of his emotional energy trying to get out, so we’re not sure if he’s really thought ahead more than that.

Given that you could say we are at an emotional high right now with Mike Ross, we certainly would not be surprised if the majority of the summer finale went in a different direction, and also chose to emphasize some rather-different things. This is the idea we get for the most part from the latest USA promo below. This one in particular hypes up some of the potential issues coming up Pearson Specter Litt, in particular how the actions to free Mike from prison could have far-reaching consequences, and could in turn jeopardize the likes of Louis, Harvey, and Jessica’s careers. They have navigated some rather-difficult issues before, but at the same time we’re not sure any of them are in a position right now where they can actually deal with some of what is being tossed in their direction. The firm still has not recovered from its last major crisis.

Given that this is “Suits,” the one thing we anticipate more so than any other is some sort of epic cliffhanger, which could in turn set the stage for a wild second half of the year.
