‘Halt and Catch Fire’ season 3, episode 5 preview: Whose company is it, anyway?
Tonight, there were a few different important stories of note on AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire.” Donna took over more of the decision-making on Mutiny by a rather clever transfer of information, while Cameron struggled mightily with the egos and attitudes of the new employees brought over in the merger.
Based on the preview for the next new episode, Cameron may be preoccupied with a more personal matter than the company, and it involves her father’s memory. It’s a matter that was clearly weighing on her through much of Tuesday’s installment, and Bosworth seems to be the primary linchpin behind encouraging her to go for it and make the next move. She’ll be heading back home, even if it is just for a relatively short period of time.
Elsewhere in this episode, there will be a few more developments, and we hope that one of them could propel things along at a little bit of a faster pace. For the time being, we would certainly argue that this is the one weak point of the season to date. The synopsis, via TV Guide below, offers up a little bit more news on what you can expect to see:
“Donna and Gordon decide to treat themselves to a vacation at home instead of camping. Meanwhile, Bos and Cameron return to Texas; and Ryan and Joe have a revelation.”
We’ll have some more news on this episode as we get a little bit closer to it airing. Stay tuned…
