For all fans of “Beauty and the Beast,” we understand the frustrations with the way the show’s being scheduled for the final season. It feels almost like you’re getting one week on, one week off, and then another week on again.
Unfortunately, that trend is continuing for at least one more week, as there is not a new episode airing on The CW. Maybe the network wanted to save the final episodes until closer to the fall season, or maybe they felt like this was a little too close to Labor Day Weekend. Ultimately, it’s pretty darn tough to get into their heads and figure out precisely what they were thinking.
Regardless, the big news is still that there are two episodes to go on the series, and these are likely to be powerful, emotional ones that pay tribute to people who have been watching for the entirety of the series. If you’ve loved the show, then odds are that you’re going to love what is coming your way over the final episodes. September 8 is when the first one airs, and it will be followed soon after by the series finale entitled “Au Revoir.”
While it would have been nice to see the show have a fifth season, at least we can say this with confidence: It’s rather great that the writers / producers at least knew about this being the final season in advance. Thanks to that, they could craft a fitting ending.
