‘Big Brother 18’ preempted once again in several markets tonight due to NFL football
For those of you who are planning to watch tonight’s “Big Brother” episode, which contains the latest eviction and (hopefully) an eventful jury-house segment, we come bearing news: Be prepared for a preemption or two, depending on where you live.
In some markets (we’ve seen it with New York and St. Louis in particular), there are some NFL games that are going to air in the place of the CBS reality show. Meanwhile, in other parts of the country we know that there could be some weather-related delays with storms heading into many coastal areas.
Before you tune in to watch tonight, our advice is rather simple: Do the old-school thing and check some of your local listings. From there, you may get a little bit of a better idea what to do in terms of options, given that in some markets it may be airing on alternate channels or later on in the night. It’ll also be online over night on CBS.com or CBS All Access if you just want to watch it a little later on down the road.
If this were a standard Sunday or Wednesday show, we figure that this would probably not be anywhere near as frustrating to some out there. The main reason that it is probably a little more painful is because of the fact that it’s a live eviction show, and it’s the only time during the week that we can watch something play out without advance knowledge. (Sure, we think we know what will happen, but things do occasionally change.)
