‘Big Brother 18’ episode 33 review: Save, or fold
If we are talking about this week of “Big Brother 18” from an entertainment perspective, it feels fairly easy to describe it in one word: Boring. If we were looking at this from a stay-or-fold perspective, we’d clearly pick “fold.”
Note that we’re really not talking here about gameplay, since we do think that Nicole bar-none is playing this week incredibly well. She knows Michelle is after her, Michelle is making no effort at all in order to make things better, and she is able to target her without having to break her word directly to James and Natalie. While they may still feel relatively betrayed by them when the dust settles, odds are that they will still look at Paul and Victor at targets at the end of the day.
The issue is just that Nicole and her side is doing so good of a job not letting on to other people in the house precisely what is going on. James, Natalie, and Big Meech all remain in the dark, and as a result of that, this show really struggled for material. That’s why we got Corey Diary Rooms about Christmas, and then also a dating-service audition for Paul and Victor. There just was not a whole lot of substance. We don’t blame the show for this; they just didn’t give the producers anything to work with!
Ultimately, nominations are the same, so let’s hope for a more interesting eviction show tomorrow. How about a new jury-house segment? Grade: C+.
