‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13: Arizona to have new love interest
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in a new interview, show creator Shonda Rhimes made it clear that you won’t see Jessica Capshaw right away when the show premieres; however, when you do, there will be some exciting stuff ahead:
“We’re absolutely going to see it … Jessica was very, very delightfully pregnant at the end of last year, and so she’s not in the first two episodes — which everybody brace yourselves for — because she’s taking a little bit of time off for kids, but then she’s back. I’m very excited to introduce a love interest for her, and to get to tell a story with her that lets her be who she is, and to see who she is post the relationships that she’s had.”
You can argue that almost every character on this show deserves love and happiness after what they’ve been through, but Arizona in particular has to be really high on the list. Just this past season she went through a lot when it comes to Penny and Callie, and she now has a chance to settle in and see where this new path takes her.
The new season of “Grey’s Anatomy” will premiere next month on ABC.
