‘Suits’ season 6, episode 8 video: Are Mike’s problems coming home to roost?

Through most of the past few episodes, “Suits” season 6 has established this central conflict that has really put Mike Ross at a major moral crossroads: He has to figure out what he is willing to do to save himself from prison, and how far he is willing to go in order to cause some problems for others in the process.

Based on the promo for tonight’s new episode “Borrowed Time,” the one thing that does feel fairly official is this: By the end of the episode, we could see Kevin Miller figuring out what Mike is up to, and react to it in a very violent way. Mike has acted as though he is Kevin’s friend, and to a certain extent we believe that those actions are real and genuine. However, at the same exact time there is a very clear ulterior motive there in that he wants to do what he can in order to ensure that he gets his release from prison, and in order to do so, he could end up implicating Kevin’s wife.

The irony here is that Mike has worked so hard to build this friendship and trust, and it may not even matter given what is going on with Harvey and Sean Cahill on the outside. You better be prepared for a few more battles there…

Given that there are only a few episodes left this summer, you better be prepared for some big confrontations. We’re not sure if the prison arc will be resolved this summer, but we are certainly excited to find out.
