‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Will Tex be the game-changer?

While the danger is high on both the Nathan James and stateside on “The Last Ship,” you can never completely let go of hope. After all, if you did what sort of show would you even have?

On this particular season, hope may be coming in the form of a man we have not seen in quite some time before this point in the story: Tex. What can he do? Well, we’ve certainly seem him be rather effective in spreading the cure, and his history certainly makes it clear that he knows a thing or two about taking on nefarious people.

Unfortunately for him, the odds of him, Kara, or anyone else succeeding at the moment are still low just given what they are up against, from the dissolution of the United States to the threats overseas. Chandler has already went against protocol, so even if he makes it back home, does he have a home there anymore? What sort of punishment could await him? We’re at a point now in the story where there are many twists and turns that could be coming, and we imagine that at least a few of them could have devastating consequences. There are still some stories left to tell even beyond this episode, and if you have to worry about what the next shoe to drop could be.
