‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Veto Ceremony results (week 9)

Big Brother -There are often very few surprises when it comes to Veto Ceremonies in the “Big Brother” house, and the results of the one that we had on Monday were largely in step with what we were told going into it.

Ultimately, Paul of course chose to remove himself with the Power of Veto, and Michelle (who was the co-Head of Household who nominated him in the first place) chose to nominate Corey in his place. This entire ordeal makes it all the more clear how giving the America’s Care Package to Michelle this week probably wasn’t in the best interest of many of the super-fans out there (who tend to not be Nicole / Corey fans). Look at it this way: If Victor had been co-HoH and nominated Corey or Nicole from the jump, Paul could have used the Veto on himself and helped to raise the odds of either Nicole or Corey going home this week. Granted, this would be dependent on Natalie then nominating one of them (the one Victor didn’t nominate) over Big Meech.

Okay, maybe this is all getting too complicated.

In the end, it feels clear that Victor will go this week, and moving into week 10 Paul is easily the biggest target. He needs to either win Head of Household or hope Victor / someone favorable comes back and gets it to protect him. James is gunning hard for the next HoH, but at the same time he hasn’t shown to be great in any non-endurance competition through two seasons of the show.
