‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 9 video: Lena, Stef face moving drama

If there is one word to describe Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” based on some of the footage we’re seeing to date, this would be it: “Stressful.” There’s a heck of a lot going on, and while many of the younger characters are going to be everything from class projects to trying to solve investigations, none of it solves a rather-simple but critical issue: How in the world the family is going to have a roof over their heads moving forward.

The sneak peek below features a debate front and center between Stef and Lena on this very topic, and it’s one that neither has a particularly clear answer for at present. They are facing the issue of having to move out within two weeks, and not exactly knowing where in the world they can go. While there may be some options out there, at the same exact time they may not have much time to explore them.

Probably the most painful part of this preview is seeing Mariana, who has plenty of her own drama going on, coming in and telling the two to stop fighting. Eventually, the real-estate also shows up in order to show the prospective buyers the children’s bathroom. That’s just more salt in the wound at this point.

We do keep hoping that somehow, a miracle is going to come down that allows the Adams Foster family to keep living at their house, given that it’s such a focal point of the series and it’s even featured in some of the logos. Here’s the issue: This is a realistic show, and they have to figure out a way in which to do this that would actually make some sense.
