‘Fuller House’ season 2: Odds of Olsen twin appearance pretty much nil
At this point, there’s gotta be one question related to “Fuller House” that the cast is tired of getting, and it ties back to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Are we ever going to see the Michelle character make a return appearance? It doesn’t seem like it. As Jodie Sweetin noted to “Entertainment Tonight,” the cast and crew (who are wrapping up the second season) have exhausted all of their arguments and resources in an effort to ensure that the Olsen Twins return:
“We’ve tried everything … I think we’ve kinda given up.”
With that said, Sweetin noted that “a lot of people that have been talked about for like 30 years are going to be on the show,” and that “it’s going to be a lot of fun.” We know that some of these special guests will include the New Kids on the Block, and there are probably more out there we don’t know about just yet.
The reality when it comes to the Olsen Twins and this show is merely this: These people have enough money to fill a swimming pool, in between their acting / merchandising empire when they were younger and their fashion business now. There’s just not really that incentive for them to turn up here when they’re not into acting at this point in their lives, and they don’t even seem to be in the spotlight much. Would it be a really cool way to give back to their fans? Sure, but at the same time they’ve got no obligation to do so given that all of their work has always been for the fans.
This is probably the last time we’ll report on this unless there’s something of actual substance to note in the future.
