‘Poldark’ season 2 video: Go behind the scenes with Aidan Turner, cast for PBS special

Season 2 of “Poldark” will be here in a few billion blinks, or to be more specific, September 25 with a two-hour premiere for viewers in America. PBS is the network, and Masterpiece is responsible for the presentation. Prepare to sit back, grab your tissues, and enjoy remarkable British drama.

Or, you could prepare yourself a week early to get some further insight into the world of the show! PBS has confirmed that on September 18, the network will air a special entitled “Poldark Revealed” that should take you inside the world of the best-selling adaptation, its transition to television (on multiple occasions, no less), and also who so many love it so. Aidan Turner and many of the other wonderful cast members appear to be featured in some capacity. There’ll probably be some humor, some history, and a few minutes where you wish another BBC hero in The Doctor would show up to transports you into the following week so you can watch the premiere.

If you’ve missed the boat on “Poldark” so far, there’s still time to catch up! Amazon’s got the first-season collection to buy or stream, and there’s plenty of time to burn through the short first season. Don’t do the crazy thing and watch them all in one day, mostly because if you do, odds are they’ll all be a massive Cornwall blur full of action, emotion, and beautiful vistas. This is an experience to be savored, a notion we still suggest many times within this era of binge-watching.

Now, let’s up PBS keeps up this rather-lovely habit of continuing to release promos at a steady pace.
