‘America’s Got Talent’ results: Did Dunkin’ Save protect Sal Valentinetti, Kadie Lynn Roberson, ThroWings?

AGT -We’ve made it to the second “America’s Got Talent” results show of the season, one where Dunkin’ Donuts is looking once again to get their money’s worth with the Dunkin’ Save. Yes, it is a cheesy name that makes little sense in context, but it means a lot to the acts who are in danger. Out of the three, one of them will be granted the save, one will be voted through by the judges, and one will be left to the mercy of a possible wild card in order to re-enter the competition. Otherwise, they are out the door.

So for tonight’s results, who is in the most danger? Early on in the show following the oh-too-long recap (we did watch last night’s show), the Dunkin’ Save results were in. Sal Valentinetti, ThroWings, and Kadie Lynn Roberson were in danger, and we gotta say we were shocked by Sal. Maybe this was a sign that some of America didn’t care for him shaking up a One Direction song. With that being said, we think that America will pick him to move on out of these three.

We’ll have more news as the results show goes on!

Advancing Acts – The first act to advance was The Clairvoyants, which pleased us greatly because they are AWESOME. Maybe you can be skeptical of what they do, but at the same time, their level of charisma on-stage is outstanding. They make you believe in what they are doing.

Next up, Steven Brundage and Viktor Kee got some good news! We gotta say that we LOVE how America is rewarding acts from different styles so far tonight. Also, Steven’s advancement is cool given that he was a wild-card going into this week.

In the next wave of announcements, Sofie Dossi was given the green light to bring her bow-and-arrow to the next round! Yet, again, another cool choice. The next pick has to be Calysta Bevier, right? As it turns out, yes! We can’t argue with the people that America went through, though this cemented that Ryan Stock and AmberLynn’s miscue did them in.

Dunkin’ Save – As predicted, Sal got the nod from America! Probably the right now; now, he has to figure out a way to appeal to people who want both standards and something new. Good luck…

Final Save – After another tie, Kadie Lynn was put through! It’s sad for ThroWings, but we don’t have too huge of a problem with this one, even if we do root for variety often more so than singers. There was a nice mixture of people who went through in the end.

Hopefully, you’ll stick around for the rest of our “AGT” coverage over the coming days, including a postmortem tomorrow on why some of the acts who went home did.
