‘The Night Of’ actor joins Kathy Bates in new Netflix – Chuck Lorre comedy

Recently, we wrote about some rather ambitious plans “Two and a Half Men” / “Mom” creator Chuck Lorre had for “Disjointed,” a series that is in many ways different than any other he has done in some time. For one, this is going to make for a chance for him to work with the incomparable Kathy Bates; also, the premise for this show is interesting: Bates plays a longtime advocate of a certain plant (you know where we are going here) who is now running a dispensary out of Los Angeles. It’s a chance for her to front a comedy, which we have really wanted to see for quite some time.

Now, we’ve also gotten a chance to learn about one of her co-stars, who we’re going to be seeing a whole lot of on another show coming up.

According to TVLine, “The Night Of” actor Aaron Moten is going to be appearing on this show as Travis, the son of Bates’ Ruth who has a mountain of ambition for what her should could eventually turn into. He thinks she is qualified to run it, but is also thinking much further into the future.

In the event you don’t recall much about Moten’s “The Night Of” character of Petey, there is a fairly simple answer to that: He really has not been in too much of the series just yet. He will have a more prominent role in it as the season goes on, and give a little bit more insight into the main character of Nasir. (If you’re not watching the show, here is your hint that you really should be.)
