‘The Originals’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Sleepy Hollow’ alum cast in mystery role

Originals -While “The Originals” did not reveal a whole lot of information about the fourth season while at San Diego Comic-Con, we do at least know now one of the more notable additions to the show for this coming season.

Speaking to Seat24F in a video interview, Joseph Morgan revealed that Neil Jackson, best known for his role as Abraham a.k.a. the Headless Horseman over on Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow,” is slated to appear on the fourth season of the show. As for who the role will be, think along the lines of a vampire named Alistair. That’s just about all we know for the time being, but we are thoroughly interested to see how he factors in.

Then again, we’re interesting to see how almost everything works moving into the upcoming fourth season because so much of it is a mystery at present. What we do know at present is that the new season is going to leap forward a good five years from the end of season 3, where Hope will have much more of a presence and where Klaus will find the world in a very new, different place. Starting the show a little bit later at midseason does help the series in many ways prepare for a very different sort of world.

Hopefully, this is just scratching the surface of some of the casting news that is going to be coming, just as we’re also hoping at the same time that this is not the final season of the show. We’ll have some further news soon, so stay tuned!
