‘Bones’ season 11 finale reaction: Who is the Puppeteer?
The season finale of “Bones” on Thursday night proved itself to be one of the trickiest and most dangerous ones to date, largely because you were dealing with a threat that was not just physical; it also was psychological, as a villain known as the Puppeteer propelled Brennan into a mass sense of panic. Not only that, but she started to suffer from one nightmare after the next.
While this was a threat that was difficult to investigate, Booth still did everything that he could in order to spring into action, including identifying Brennan’s new therapist as someone who could be involved. He used the team to help profile precisely who this person could be … and also why they could be targeting Brennan of all people.
The ending of this episode proved be incredibly interesting just because of how we felt the reveal coming, and yet it was incredibly suspenseful watching it play out. The truth was that Fox had already released that a former character was returning to the show, and as this went along, signs pointed to Zack Addy. When he showed his face and woke Brennan up in the closing seconds, a new sort of nightmare began. This is arguably one of the most dangerous threats the entire Jeffersonian team has faced, largely because of his overall knowledge of the team and also everything that he wants to “discuss” with her.
If you wanted a great cliffhanger for the final season, rest assured that this is it! We suppose it’s not 100% guaranteed that Zack is the Puppeteer, but signs are pointed obviously towards him now more than anyone else.
