‘Halt and Catch Fire’ season 3 promo hypes up return
On Tuesday, August 23, the two-hour premiere of “Halt and Catch Fire” is going to be here, and there is certainly quite a bit to look forward to. For one, you see that sign above that says Mutiny? Well, that may not even really exist in the same form anymore. Our leads are all heading over out to Silicon Valley, and starting off the latest phase of the tech revolution. The first two seasons of this show each had their own unique identity, and it appears as though this is a trend that will continue.
Unfortunately, this first-look promo below does not give too much away other than just a few isolated scenes. Instead, it’s constructed mostly as a way to promote the show as a work of quality to newcomers; that’s why there are so many quotes in there from people who loved and enjoyed the show during the first two seasons. Hopefully some more specifics will be dished out in due time.
We just hope that for some viewers who are unaware of the show, they head over to Netflix and check it out. It’s smart, thought-provoking, and features some knockout performances from Lee Pace and Kerry Bishe. Given the ratings for the first two seasons, this is a show that needs all the support it can get.
One thing that is immediately funny about this promo to us is this: See that Los Angeles Rams flag in the background? Just one year ago, that would have been irrelevant. Now, it is suddenly timely again. It’s interesting how coincidences work.
