‘Supernatural’ season 12: A familiar sight on set
Last week, there was great news that came out of Vancouver for “Supernatural” fans. After all, filming was underway on the twelfth season! Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Mark Sheppard were ready to bring their characters to life once more, and for a season that certainly has a lot of surprises in store when you consider Sam’s current situation and the reemergence of Mary Winchester.
Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait for some further details on that … but you don’t have to wait any longer to see Baby back in action! The photo below from Jensen Ackles’ official Instagram account features the famed Impala, which has been a part of the show for ages and, based on the episode from this past season, is clearly a character in its own right.
While season 12 may have ended in a way that could fundamentally shift the show for some time, the one thing we’ve definitely learned about “Supernatural” over the years is that somehow, they are able to eventually find their way to equilibrium without too much effort. One way or another, we are eventually going to find our way back to these characters doing more of what they excel at. While the larger mythologies are interesting, ultimately we still think the meat of this show lies in the Monster of the Week plots, which you can go back and watch at any time regardless of what season you’re currently in.
