‘Longmire’ season 5: When could the first teaser / trailer be released?

All fans of “Longmire,” we certainly feel / understand where you are coming from right now when it comes to wanting further details on season 5. You just found out about the September 23 premiere date, and getting some video footage would certainly be a nice way to get through the waiting.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened yet, and we wonder if it could even be happening in the next month or so.

In trying to chart when we could have the first trailer for the new batch of episodes, remember that the season 4 trailer did not arrive until close to the end of August, and that is with season 4 starting earlier in September than season 5 did. Therefore, it’s certainly possible that it could be the tail end of next month / early September before Netflix puts something out, at least if current viewing patterns hold.

It is possible that there could be some sort of teaser clip put out before then. This happened in the middle of August for season 4, and that did a fairly good job of at least getting people psyched up for what was coming for Walt and the rest of the cast. Maybe a season 5 teaser could come closer to the end of next month.

One of the reasons for all of this palpable excitement, other than our personal love for the show, is that we had such a tremendous cliffhanger at the end of this past season with Walt and Donna Sue being interrupted by a mysterious figure. We’ve had about a billion theories on this since the end of last season (read some here), so we’re excited to just put the chatter to rest.
