‘American Ninja Warrior’ video: Go behind the scenes before Los Angeles finals!

Season 8 of “American Ninja Warrior” has progressed its way through the quarterfinals, which means effectively that we’re on to the next big thing: The city finals! This leads us to Los Angeles Monday night, where combatants will put the grueling course to the test.

With that in mind, let’s take a quick look at what they’re going to be up against! In the video below, Alex Weber gives you a quick look behind the scenes at some of what these particular round of contestants will be up against. Suffice it to say, there are a lot of challenges awaiting them here! Sure, many of them are predictable, but in that moment there’s a lot of drama that goes into every single step.

Also in here, you can see Brooke Burke-Charvet (formerly of “Dancing with the Stars”) do her part to test her husband’s skill. It’s a little bit of fun, and a nice preview for the crowd as to what they’re going to see the remainder of the show. At this point, this is almost a sporting event in the same way that a tennis match or a football game is. People have their favorites, and they come to check out the experience in person. David’s performance may be the equivalent of some people coming out at halftime to do a variety of dunks for the crowd.
