Sunday night’s new episode of “Ray Donovan” will be upon us before long, and a significant amount of story is set to unfold. Before we get around to some of that, though, why not take a moment to reflect?
The video below features series star Liev Schreiber in a break from the action discussing the character of Ray, his faith, and some of the evolution that we have seen with him over time since the beginning of the series. Anytime you have gone through the trauma he has, it can be difficult to believe. Therefore, there is a permanent struggle at the center of this series for him, and he is merely doing what he can to overcome it.
Ultimately, it all comes down to good people versus bad. In the world of the church, both do exist, and you have to find those who align with your own interests.
Now, let’s move forward to Sunday night. If you’re so inclined, check out a pair of additional teases for Sunday night’s new episode.
1. There will be a surprising break-in that takes place and sends Ray completely into protector mode almost right away. In turn, it sends almost everyone around him into some sort of a panic.
2. Mickey will start to plot out a break-in, and based on one of the sneak peeks that Showtime has released, there will be some comedy here. With Mickey sometimes, it is hard to tell if he is a mastermind or a bumbling crook. Maybe he’s both, since he certainly does a number on his son emotionally.
