‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 3 video: Jesus stands up for Mariana

Fosters -Based on the past few weeks of “The Fosters,” it feels fairly clear that there will continue to be emotional times ahead. We are still sifting through the aftermath of the school lockdown, and finger-pointing could be a problem for some time to come.

Specifically, the sneak peek below features many of the show’s younger characters working to process what happened, and that will prove itself to be challenging. After all, it’s a school setting, and kids are nasty. Specifically, Mariana gets blamed for Nick’s actions because of what happened with her and Mat, which leads Jesus to rush to her defense. He makes it clear that other people don’t know what happened. They weren’t there through much of her pain.

Regardless of what other people say to her, this pain will stick with Mariana. Eventually, she may even look to Nick to try to gain answers and understanding. One of the other previews that is out there for the season features her paying him a visit. As for Jesus, it’s simply nice to know the he is protective of his sister. He will have more of his own story coming up, but it will be in due time.

As for the other characters on the show, rest assured they will be dealing with the aftereffects in their own way. Much of Monday’s episode will be about taking a look at what happened from a wide array of different perspectives to get a fuller picture.
