‘Outcast’ episode 5 video: Kyle, Reverend Anderson do some checking in

Friday night’s new episode of “Outcast” is right around the corner after a week off the air, and based on the new sneak peek below, one of the main goals of the hour could be Kyle and Reverend Anderson working together to do a little bit of check-up with some of the latter’s loose ends.

Following the episode that aired recently, the Reverend is going to start to worry that maybe some of his work may have been left unfinished; specifically here, the two of them visited Roy (who Kyle has never met before) in order to check on Sherry. Unfortunately, Roy delivers some bad news that she hasn’t been around for a while, and is now off in Charleston. If it turns out that she is still struggling with some literal or metaphorical demon, this could be some bad news.

Also in this episode, Kyle’s fears about Allison and her own history may come home to roost, and this is something that he will have to look into more by convincing her to meet with him. While the past few episodes have been a little slower than the pilot, we appreciate how they have worked to better establish this world and set the stage for things to come. Since this show already has a second season, there’s really not too much of a fear regarding hurrying things along.
