‘The Fosters’ season 4 trailer hints at new Jude romance, Nick’s return

Even though Nick was sent away in a police car at the end of this past episode of “The Fosters,” this does not mean in the slightest that he is gone from the show. As a matter of fact, let’s just go ahead and say that we are seeing Mariana meet with him at some point in the future.

The mini-trailer below for the rest of the season makes it very clear that Nick will return for what will probably be an extremely tense meeting between him and Mariana, and that is not the only moment of high drama taking place. For one, Callie faces questions about her adoption thanks to what happened between her and Brandon, and it would be particularly sad for us to go through this entire journey only for this to happen in the end.

Elsewhere, the trailer makes it seem as though Lena’s job could be in jeopardy, Jesus could learn a thing or two about being “friends with benefits,” and Jude could have a new love interest, which is great given just how heartbroken he was over what happened to him and Connor. It definitely seems like we’re not slowing down this season; instead, we’re just moving over to a different kind of drama, one that will hopefully not put lives in jeopardy much in the way that we saw with the first two episodes of the season.
