‘The Fosters’ season 4 spoilers: Callie revisits her past with surprising results
The fourth season of “The Fosters” has featured a lot of stories so far this season that have to with crises in the present, whether it be Stef and Lena trying to make sure Mariana is safe or Brandon’s decision to move out and live with Cortney. We’ll see some of what comes next play out on Monday night, but in looking for a minute beyond that, the July 18 installment entitled “Now for Then” is going to focus a little bit more on revisiting the past.
Specifically, the synopsis below makes it clear that Callie’s senior project, looking back at her former foster homes, will lead to some stunning revelations that cause her to think about everything that has happened to bring her to this point:
“Callie starts her senior project of photographing the outside of her and Jude’s seven former foster homes. But, when an unexpected encounter with a former foster mother brings her inside, Callie decides to reach out to other people who have fostered her and is shocked to learn that a 17-year-old former foster brother has been convicted of murder. Stressed out by the hardships of supporting himself and Cortney, Brandon throws a house party and things take a turn for the worse. Stef and Lena offer to pay for an attorney to help get Gabe off of the sex offender registry, which is currently putting Lena’s job at risk and causing friction between Mike and Ana.”
Could this episode be the end for Brandon and Cortney … already? We’re not ruling it out, mostly because the guy has taken on a lot of responsibility for his age.
