‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7 spoilers: More news on Jenna’s return

For everyone out there excited for the return of Jenna on “Pretty Little Liars” this season, rest assured that we have some further information all about it! Tammin Sursok is going to be make her long-awaited first appearance in quite some time on the July 19 episode entitled “Along Comes Mary,” and based on the official synopsis below, one of the key components to her storyline is going to be (of course) suspicion as to whether or not she is the one responsible for all of the Liars’ pain:

“Jenna returns to Rosewood and befriends another one of the Liars’ enemies, making her the PLL’s number one suspect for Uber A. In order to leave the psychiatric hospital, Ali must be released into the care of a relative, leaving her under the suspicious watch of Mary Drake. Spencer enlists Hanna’s help to search for Caleb as he’s missing in action. Aria and Emily stumble upon a secret apartment they hope will lead them to more answers.”

For almost the entire series Jenna has been near the top of the suspect list, and it’s for that reason we’ve always pegged her to be too obvious a target. This is probably still true, but one thing that the show does need to figure out, and that is explaining just what her motivations have been this whole time. She can’t just be potentially evil this whole time for the sake of it, right? We at least are hoping for an answer that is a little bit more complex than this, but we suppose that we shall see if that turns out to be the case.
