‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spotlight: Does Vinny Ventiera have even a remote chance?

There are a few contestants from this season of “The Bachelorette” that you may not even remember going into “Bachelor in Paradise,” and we clearly think that Vinny Ventiera is one of them. He’s been gone from JoJo Fletcher’s season for only a short period of time, but there are probably some people out there who don’t even remember he was on it.

With that, we’ll try to remember you about the barber from Florida from this season, not that there is really a whole lot to go on.

Show experience – He had a highlight or two on the first night, and that’s really it. Other than that, he was a background player and not someone you will recall. We figure he was likely cast on this season as a “Tanner type,” someone who, despite not being that notable, could be able to find a relationship and success in “Paradise.”

Romance potential – Moderately high, at least in terms of him getting a date. We would be shocked if he ends up engaged like Tanner, mostly because we think that the longer the show goes on, the bigger advantage more notable names will have. The savvy, publicity-seeking contestant is going to be more interested in getting together with someone else who will get them more attention. He better hope someone is really there “for the right reasons.”

Drama potential – Low. Hey, he was so not-notable during his first run that we have almost zero expectations for him here. There’s a good chance that he will end up being a complete ghost until he goes home.
