‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: The secondhand embarrassment is strong
Now, we know that it is really easy to hate Paul and Jozea as contestants on “Big Brother,” and for so many reasons. They are arrogant, narcissistic, and they make fun of other people like they are in high school.
Yet, there is something we find oddly compelling about watching these people routinely shooting themselves in the foot. It’s the metaphorical sideshow that you can’t stop watching. We’ve ever seen anyone so delusional this early in the game; at least the Paqs brothers on “Big Brother Canada” waited for a while before they started comparing themselves to Derrick, and they did technically win the game in the end.
Some of the comments that these guys were making last night were incredibly insane, including how they were going to be able to relax for most of the game and how Da’Vonne is for sure with them. Also, Paul mocked people for watching multiple seasons, thinking they can get something out of it, and claims that he watched one season and officially knows everything that he needs to know about the game. Paul also bashed Donny for some reason, since apparently there cannot be two popular houseguests with a beard like this. (Note to Paul: You’re not the popular one!)
We know this isn’t anything new beyond the fact that Bridgette was a part of some of the shenanigans last night, but it really is a thing of beauty watching them get blindsided this week. We thought we’d be bored of it by this point, but the rest of the people in the house are a little vanilla. While we don’t particularly like them as players, at the same time we concede that they are bringing unintentional comedy like nobody’s business.
