Black Doves season 2 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there a chance we are going to hear more about Black Doves season 2 between now and the end of June? Let’s just say that on paper, the idea is very-much possible.

What is the biggest reason for that? From where we stand, a lot of it simply has to do with timelines. The second season wrapped production back in the winter, and that means that everyone has had a good bit of time now behind the scenes to edit and prepare for what more is coming.

Based on a lot of timelines and/or the specific demands that Netflix has when it comes to their schedule, our general feeling is that Black Doves season 2 is likely to arrive when we get around to the fall. That means that there is at least a chance we hear something more this month and if not, we can easily envision a world where it happens shortly after the fact. The Keira Knightley spy drama has been a little under-the-radar when it comes to attention this year but at the same time, the first chapter appeared to be pretty successful. Netflix does not release individual numbers, but it does feel like the show itself was able to pick up a reasonable amount of buzz.

In the end, our hope is that within a month or so after a premiere date is announced, we are going to learn a little more about what the future could hold. After all, the faster we learn about stuff, the more eager we can be for what the actual story will be. It is a lot harder to do that when we are speaking about theoretical situations most of the time. All we can say is that the tone for season 2 will likely be similar to what we have seen so far.
