‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 spoilers: There’s (still) hope for April and Jackson

When it comes to “Grey’s Anatomy” and its wide array of couples, it really does appear as though there is a mantra that you should follow rather closely: Never say never. After all, there is almost always hope for some of these people, even when it does not appear that there is on the surface.

For example, just look at where things stand with Jackson and April. At one point over the course of the show’s run, it definitely looked like there was almost no chance at all that the two of them were going to be on the same page. With that said, it now feels like there is at least something cordial brewing between the two of them, and who knows? Maybe this will lead them back together down the road. Nobody knows for certain, but Jesse Williams laid out the following to TVLine on the state of things for the two:

“[It’s] day to day with Jackson and April. They can have a very civil, mature conversation one moment, then be at each other’s throats [the next], because real life is like that. We carry frustrations and baggage and grudges.”

It’s hard to say where the needle will land with these two, mostly because “Grey’s Anatomy” is not the sort of show where there is an air of predictability. Otherwise, we would have said that Owen and Cristina would have found their way back to each other, and the same goes for Callie and Arizona. That didn’t happen in either case, at least for the time being.
