‘The Bachelor’ couple Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell land Freeform reality spin-off

Ben -Do you still have an interest in watching the lives of Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell following “The Bachelor“? If so, rest assured that you are going to have an opportunity to see what their future holds on Freeform a little bit into the future.

The network has officially ordered “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After,” a show that will chronicle their future as a couple and path to eventually getting married. We’ll get a chance to see Ben consider a future in politics, while his fiancee also figures out what she wants the next phase of her life to look like. There will be appearances from other people associated with “The Bachelor” at various points over the course of the series, which means that you’ll probably get to see some other popular familiar faces.

In a statement confirming this news, the network’s executive vice president of programming Karey Burke had the following to say:

“Ben and Lauren are the biggest Bachelor couple of the last 10 years … Their romance captured everyone’s attention, and we are delighted to continue their story.”

Isn’t this a little bit of an odd statement to make? We’d say so, since we’re not entirely sure Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici would agree with this. Plus, they’ve already been married and are expecting their first child together.

At present, we honestly have no clue precisely how this show will do. We think that one of the real reasons for the success of “The Bachelor” is the format, and we’re not sure either Ben or Lauren is entertaining enough to anchor their own show.
