‘Silicon Valley’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Jared’s new apparel and marketing madness
At the end of this past episode of “Silicon Valley” at HBO, we had arguably the biggest move we have seen to date when it comes to the company as Pied Piper finally became available to the public. Their beta was a hit with virtually everyone other than Monica, so in the minds of Richard Hendricks and company (heck, even in the mind of Monica) this was enough to push them forward to the next phase.
Now that we’ve said that, are there still problems? This is something that the next new episode of the show is going to specifically address. For one, Jared is going to come up with a new “clothing line” for the company that will hilariously enrage Gilfoyle, and Erlich is going to try to take some marketing matters into his own hands … even though it is possible now that, in the wake of what just happened, he doesn’t actually have any controlling share in the company anymore.
Interested in getting some other news in terms of what to expect? Then take a look at the short TV Guide synopsis for the half-hour below:
“Erlich tries to be honest with Richard, who has mixed emotions about their friendship and the future of Pied Piper. Meanwhile, Jared’s new company apparel turns heads but fuels yet another clash between Dinesh and Gilfoyle.”
