‘Outlander’ season 2, episode 10 video: Fergus pleads to fight at Prestonpans

On tomorrow night’s new episode of “Outlander” entitled “Prestonpans,” we will see both the lead-up to the famous battle alongside quite a bit of the event itself. This may be one of the most epic, intense battles that we’ve had a chance to see on the show to date, but for the sake of the new sneak peek below, we’re keeping things a little more personal and between a few characters.

Specifically, you can see in the video Fergus do his best to try and convince Jamie (pictured) and Claire that he is best served helping to fight and further along the Jacobite cause; however, Jamie reiterates to him that this is not the best idea, and there are other ways in which he can aid the cause. We do know that Claire can certainly take all of the help that she can get, given that there is more than likely going to be a flurry of people who become injured and in need of urgent medical attention as a result of the battle. This is the sort of thing where injuries are going to run rampant, and of course as a result of that we’re also going to see potentially some traumatic memories from Claire’s past (well, sort of the future) come back into her mind.

One of the exciting aspects of this battle is that it will be a merger of the show’s themes and characters both old and new, thrust onto the same battlefield. If you have been looking for a culmination of much of the show’s story, we imagine that this episode is going to present that for you and then some.
