‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spotlight Will Amanda Stanton be a popular contender?

Amanda Stanton -

Every season on “Bachelor in Paradise,” there are a few people who the men and women tend to flock to, and the reasons why are fairly easy. If you have a craving for airtime, you want to be with someone who was popular on their season. Then, you want to be with someone you perceive as nice. Amanda Stanton was both of those things during Ben Higgins’ season. Unless Caila Quinn magically shows up down there, she is one of the bigger gets that the producers have for this season.

So is there a shot that she leaves this season with a fiancee? We’re not sure about that given that she has kids to think about, but we do at least feel like she will be the subject of plenty of attention. For more, read on in our latest spotlight piece!

Show experience – She made it all the way to the final four on Ben’s season before being sent home, after he had already met her children. She was notable upset about the elimination, and felt like Ben should have not brought her up to a Rose Ceremony if he knew that this was what she was deciding. (Personally, we tend to agree with her.)

Romance potential – High. There are going to be people interested in her. However, whether or not it leads to anything serious remains to be seen, mostly because we just cannot picture her in our head deciding that she wants to go into a fantasy suite or one of the show’s cheesier venues given that she does have kids who could be watching someday. It’s going to be a different experience for her than most other people this season.

Drama potential – Low. Amanda came across as far too nice during her first season to ever be considered someone to go out there and cause fights. That’s not why she was cast! The producers clearly are looking for someone who will go to Paradise, potentially find someone, and have a storybook ending that they can talk about down the road.
