When ‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4 meets ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

Catch Me -Since we are in the final season of “Beauty and the Beast,” can you really be that surprised that the show is starting to get a little bit experimental? This is the time to put all of your cards on the table, and have a little bit of fun with your storytelling. After all, you’re not going to be around next summer to do it.

This brings us to sharing some of the first details regarding the June 30 episode “It’s a Wonderful Beast,” which appears immediately to be some sort of what-if episode inspired by the classic movie “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Catherine and Vincent are going to have to disappear for a time, and in the process, Vincent may wonder what his life would have been liked had he never met the love of his life. Per SpoilerTV, you can see the synopsis for this hour below:

“Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) realize they have to go into hiding now that someone is out to kill Vincent. Vincent wonders if Cat would have been better off without him and gets a glimpse into exactly what her life could have been.”

We’re sure that there will be an element or two in here that furthers along the story towards the main plot, but at the same time, this could be a nice little diversion for some self-reflection, where we wonder just how different life could have been for these people. It’s certainly something that further shows the impact of Cat on Vincent, and the show as a whole.
