‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: James Taylor snags JoJo Fletcher one-on-one date

Just in case you were running around with some sort of innate curiosity when it comes to the first of two new episodes of “The Bachelorette,” we can at least bring you some information when it comes to one key subject: Who is getting one of the precious one-on-one dates coming up.

As we basically gave away already, it’s none other than James Taylor! The singer, who seems to have no problem borrowing his name from another singer, is going to have a great opportunity to progress his own relationship after getting a group date rose. This is what we like to call building momentum, and at the moment he definitely needs it when you think about the landscape at present on the show. Jordan Rodgers is the clear favorite, and for our money nobody is really that close even if she does like some other guys.

When it comes to airtime, one of the reasons why we’re not really getting to see a lot of some of the other contenders is because of the massive stranglehold that we are seeing Chad Johnson have on the rest of the contenders. Of course the producers are going to be especially keen to highlight many of his antics, so for many of the other guys, it only makes sense that they would be scrambling for some screen time. (For our money, we’re rather thrilled that they are not threatening anyone as a means to get it, given that this role is in many ways already filled.)
