‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: New promo all about Chad Johnson with Evan Bass, Jordan Rodgers

There are two episodes of “The Bachelorette” coming up on ABC starting Monday night, and the latest promo for them below really does its part to sell you on one thing more so than any other: Chad Johnson is clearly not going to be on the show to make any friends, to use the old cliche. He also be there in order to have everyone be as miserable as humanly possible.

In the promo below via E! News, you can see the super-buff, super-veiny dude get physical with Evan Bass, punch stuff, and threaten to hunt Jordan Rodgers down … something that we’ve seen him say on a few separate occasions now.

One thing that we really do want to remind you of more so than anything else here with Chad is that we don’t think that he is actually responsible for causing Evan to bleed out. They never actually show that, which suggests to a certain extent that there is a little bit of intentional misdirect going on here. As for the security guard wandering around, we do think that Chad makes some guys uncomfortable, but this was also a fairly-unique way for the show to milk a little more drama, even more so than they have already, out of this particular situation.

Trust us when we say that ABC is loving having a great villain to focus their attention on, at least for the time being. Chad’s probably only got a few more episodes in him before he’s sent packing, so why not try to do what you can with that before some of the chaos strikes? That seems to be at least one part of their strategy.
