‘Person of Interest’ season 5, episode 10 preview: The 100th episode is here…

For those of you out there who do really enjoy “Person of Interest,” there is probably going to be even more to enjoy than ever on tomorrow night’s new episode of the show! What’s the reason for that? More than anything else, we are going to have a celebration of the show’s legacy! “The Day the World Went Away” is the title for the 100th episode, and the synopsis below gives you a few more details when it comes to what to expect:

“Finch’s number comes up when a fatal error blows his cover identity and sets off a deadly series of escalating encounters with Samaritan’s operatives.”

Yes, CBS is not really giving a whole lot away about this episode in advance, but can you be that surprised by that? Obviously there is an extra air of secrecy when it comes to it being the 100th episode, but to go along with that, there is also a further air because we are so close to the series finale now. Almost every story from here is going to accelerate in a big way as we are starting to build in build towards what is hopefully going to be a satisfying conclusion. We’ve said this a few times before, but we do really think that the producers were smart to have the foresight that this was likely the end, and came up with something that, at the very least, will tie up loose ends.
