The second season of “The Flash” has been a trip. There has been action, drama, betrayal, and so much more, and we’re still have the big finale coming up on Tuesday night. Therefore, we’ve got an epic showdown between Barry and Zoom still to come that could shake up the entire course of the show. Along the way, maybe we’re also going to get a chance to figure out one way or another what the third season could be like.
For now, here’s what we can tell you about this big episode: “The Race of His Life” is the title, and you can see the official synopsis below for more:
“After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) reveals his true plan, Barry (Grant Gustin) vows to do whatever it takes to stop him.”
Yeah, compared to some other synopses, this one is pretty weak. Clearly, someone doesn’t want to give much away and we really can’t blame them.
The promo below give us a little bit more insight into some of what could be coming in the finale … but only in the form of a race between Barry and Zoom. Seriously? Given what we saw tonight with the death of Henry Allen, this is certainly a strange way to go about setting the stage for that episode. There better be something more behind this, especially since it looks like all of Earth-2 could be on the verge of crumbling in one way or another.
