‘The Originals’ season 3 finale: First look at Claire Holt’s Rebekah

For everyone out there looking forward to “The Originals” and its season 3 finale on Friday night, we now have something else to look forward to seeing during it: The return of Claire Holt as Rebekah! She’s someone who has a tendency to pop in and out of the series, and it’s admittedly been quite some time since she’s turned up. Therefore, we’re rather glad to have her back now.

So what sort of role could she have in the finale? Based on the photo below (via Entertainment Weekly), it could be as simple as trying to save Klaus (Joseph Morgan) from Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). She has close ties to both of them in one way or another, and she also probably doesn’t want to see either of them gone from the world. We want to assume that Klaus finds a way out of this just based on his natural ability to escape from tricky situations. Also, would this show really want to kill off its marquee star? We really have a hard time imagining that this is something they would put high on their priority list.

Would we like to see some more of Holt on the show moving forward? Obviously yes, but we understand that she does have other things going on. The biggest thing is that we’re just grateful that we continue to get little visits from her here and there on the show, that way she constantly remains a part of the universe. Let’s hope that this lasts moving into season 4.
