ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 19 video: The battle over Florida
Susan Ross and Mellie Grant have been firmly entrenched in political warfare on “Scandal” for many weeks now, but come Thursday night’s new episode of the ABC show, we could start to see things come to a boil.
In the video below, the two women are basically front and center for a lengthy strategy session, one that has a certain Sunshine State in Florida as top priority. You see, the state’s Governor’s endorsement is key to ensuring that one of them wins the state, and she is going to require some wining-and-dining in order to win her over. These two are going to have to battle it out, since in the event one of them loses, they could end up having to suspend their entire campaign.
Judging from this lone, it’s really hard to figure out precisely who has the upper hand here, or if either one of them has a better strategy than the other. Ultimately, the reality here above all else is really just that these two have a difficult road ahead for them, and sometimes you really have to schmooze like nobody’s business if you’re interested in getting ahead and securing a key component to your campaign.
Maybe we’ll have a more cohesive answer later tonight as to what happens here; for now, stay tuned and be on the lookout for a full review! Also, we’ll have a preview after the episode airs, as there are only two installments left the remainder of the season.
