‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 19 preview: Caitlin Snow meets Killer Frost; the Man in the Iron Mask returns

“The Flash” is not typically one to give major things away in their comic previews, but this time around for Tuesday night’s upcoming new episode, someone apparently decided to change things up a little bit!

In the new preview over on the show’s official Tumblr, you can see that Caitlin Snow is about to come face-to-face with Killer Frost for the first time on Earth-2. After being captured by Zoom, she figures out that the villain actually kept her alive despite her traitorous ways the last time that we saw her. In trying to figure out the reason why, we wonder if it does have a thing or two to do with Hunter Zolomon’s own affection and feelings for Caitlin over on Earth-1. If she reminders her of someone he considers to be a great love of his life, would he really want to eradicate her from his earth? While Zoom is bad, we also get the sense from him that he does still have some sort of affection for Caitlin that is genuine.

Another thing that this comic preview points out is that we’re going to get a chance to see the return of the Man in the Iron Mask, who was last featured as well during the Earth-2 saga. It turns out that Killer Frost has no idea who he is, either, which adds another element to this mystery that Zoom apparently never had an interest in telling anyone about him.
