‘Supergirl’ finale spoilers: Take a longer look at ‘Better Angels’ (video)

Fans of “Supergirl,” get excited: The finale is almost here! It’s coming up in just one day’s time, and based on the extended preview below, this is going to be epic in every way that you would expect and then some.

First and foremost, you better be prepared for a lot of battles. This finale is going to pick up exactly where the last episode left off, and that is with Alex, who is under the control of Non and the Myriad initiative, attacking Kara wearing a protective suit and sporting the same sword that killed Astra. Eventually, we assume that this battle has its end, since we are going to see her and Non do battle in epic fashion.

This is of course without even mentioning what we’re going to see from the Martian Manhunter! Hank is going to do his part to try and take care of Indigo if at all possible, and one of the ways in which he will ensure this happens is by engaging her in battle while Supergirl has her own hands full. This could be one of the most challenging foes that Hank has faced, but given that he’s every bit as powerful as Kara in many ways he should be able to lend a helping hand.

Sadly, there is no inclination as of yet regarding where this story will lead … but we do hope that there will be a rather nice setup for whatever a second season could be.
