‘Supergirl’ episode 19 video: Who is spared from ‘Myriad’ attack?

At the end of the last new episode of “Supergirl” (otherwise known as the crossover with “The Flash” that drove the internet into more or less a frenzy), it was clear that Non was taking his Myriad plan up another level. He put the people of National City into a state of hypnosis, and is now ready with the help of a new friend Indigo (well, a sort-of-friend since technically he’s programmed her seemingly to do his bidding) to execute the next phase of his plan.

So how many powerless people are immune from his summoning? Apparently, not many given that the sneak peek below focuses only on Supergirl, Cat Grant, and Maxwell Lord. Finally, Kara has a good excuse to not be in the office while Supergirl’s there! In this conversation, the three plot what to do next, and we learn that Max has created a device that will protect himself from Non’s transmissions. Guy really thinks of everything, doesn’t he? As if that wasn’t resourceful enough, he’s also created some for Cat … and then also proceeds to hit on her after mentioning the little gift. (Max is getting flirty! This cannot end well.)

The stakes for Kara have never been higher, given that the fate of more than National City rests on her figuring out how to stop this problem. It’s unfortunate that she doesn’t still have Barry Allen around to help up, given that having someone to run around and help pinpoint the villains’ location would probably be useful. (Hey, Non at least can’t transfer through computers.)

Beyond this sneak peek, expect a fun, fast-paced, and thrilling episode … and of course one that is going to more or less bleed into the finale entitled “Better Angels” airing on April 18.
