‘Beyond the Tank’ preview: TurboPup, Frill Clothing, and Drop Stop

There’s another new episode of “Beyond the Tank” airing on ABC Tuesday night, and while this is a show not necessarily getting a ton of publicity or ratings right now, there could still be some reasons to watch … provided of course that you either like the show or are a fan of some specific brands in particular.

For now, we can at least do our part to tell you about the people taking part, and a small tease as to some of the conflict you can expect from their segment.

TurboPup – In this segment, you are going to see the company working with Daymond John to see about a licensing partner before a big expo coming up. For those who don’t recall, these are canine nutrition bars perfectly designed for people who want to bring their pet on the go.

Drop Stop – This company back in season 4 got an investment from Lori Greiner, and they are now looking to try to expand beyond where they currently are. The idea is extremely simple, but smart: A sleeve to help better ensure that you don’t end up dropping your phone, wallet, or other small belongings into that pesky gap between the car seat and the cup holder. Apparently, there’ll be a cameo from “The Adam Carolla Show” thrown in here.

Frill Clothing – We’ve seen some tense conversations between this clothing line (specializing in sorority wear) and Kevin O’Leary in previews, and this surprises us in a way given that we’ve always felt like they are going to break the bank in sales. There’s a lot of disposable income out in the sorority world, and not a lot of well-known specialty retailers.
