‘Bones’ season 11 banner all about the mystery

Do you find yourself missing some of what makes “Bones” special … or just “Bones” itself? Either way, you’ve gotta be pleased to know that the show is almost back with new episodes! The specific premiere date is Thursday, April 14, and based on the new promo art below, there is really one thing being hyped above all else: Mysteries!

In an age where so many other shows are trying to over-complicate things in both their format and their promotion, we actually like that the show is keeping things simple. There are some shows out there that are just enjoyable as TV comfort food, and something you can watch here and there just for the sake of checking out a good mystery. This is that show. It’s fun at times, dramatic at others, and it makes you think and ponder over who could be the killer / criminal on a given week.

Also, we’re starting to be at the point in the show’s run where we will feeling a little bit nostalgic. It has already been announced that the twelfth season of the show will be its last, and it is probably nice for the writers / producers to know what they are building towards. We’ll get some more mysteries moving forward this season, and then also hopefully an arc next year that help to set up the show’s proper endgame.
